Happy New Year!

We hope all of your Christmas and New Year community celebrations were joyful and uplifting. Our San Diego Worldwide Marriage Encounter is jumping into 2023 with a lot of exciting events.

Firstly, the East Valley and Northeast Communities will be hosting their annual Pie Party on Saturday, January 7 at 9am in Poway. It will be a gathering of community friends to enjoy good food and drinks. All that is asked at that you bring a “pie” of some sort (e.g. fruit, meat, pizza, etc.) to share.

The same day, January 7 at 6:30pm, the Northwest Community will be hosting its annual Epiphany party. Highlights of that event will include food, drinks, and the fastest paced and most uproarious bunko game in San Diego county.

If you would like more information about either event, we encourage you to call us at the info line at (760) 659 – 9102 and we’ll get you in touch with the organizers of each event. Why not make it a day and do both?

We also encourage you to take the time to save some dates as we head into 2023, particularly a couple of dates coming up quickly in February…

• February 3 – 5, 2023 – Our first WWME Weekend of the year for San Diego. Though it hasn’t officially been called a “go” yet, applications are in great shape already. Please plan on helping out as a prayer couple for the weekend. This Weekend will be held at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside.
• February 11, 2023 – A parish-based enrichment will be presented, entitled “Happily Ever After”. A visual teaser flier is below and we will update this post to have a direct link to the sign up page as soon as it is live. Many thanks to St. Elizabeth Seton Parish for inviting us to come in and serve the married couples in their community. They have graciously allowed us to extend the invitation to our San Diego WWME Community.
• April 22, 2023 – Our annual Sweetheart Dance will once again be hosted at St. Michael’s Church in Poway. Sign ups for that event will be set up on this events website in a future monthly update.

And of course, it wouldn’t be an update without a month’s worth of dialogue questions. We encourage you to dialogue each and every day!
