Happy February, San Diego lovers!
Our February 20 – 22 Weekend Experience at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside is totally full, which is amazing! It also means we really, really need your help. Please reach out to your community leaders or on our contact form and sign up to be a prayer couple for the Weekend. We really need your help to pray and bring these newly Encountered couples into the San Diego community!
The Diocese of San Diego celebration of National Marriage Week is this month. We encourage you all to attend the Marriage Anniversary Mass on Saturday, February 14 at 11am at Church of the Resurrection in Escondido. (*Note: the location has changed from the original announcement). The Marriage Anniversary Mass is the best way to start off your Valentine’s Day date.
The “Happily Ever After” Enrichment is coming to St. Margaret’s Parish in Oceanside on Saturday, March 28, from 9:30am to 3:30pm in their Parish Hall. If you haven’t had a chance to attend, we hope you will. It’s a great complement for your Encounter experience while standing as it’s own kind of experience. Feel free to invite married couples you know who have not attended a WWME Experience yet as well. Visit the website to sign up and join us.
Save the date for our Annual Sweetheart Dinner and Dance. The dance will be on April 18, 2026 at St. Michael’s in Poway and will include dinner, dancing and our annual silent auction. Be sure to put it in your calendar now so you don’t miss the fun!
Here are the San Diego Encounter regular community gatherings for January:
- East County Community usually meets on the second Friday of the month.
- Northeast Community will meet on Friday, February 6. (Updated)
- Northwest will meet on Saturday, February 28.
- (New!) South Bay will meet on Saturday, February 28.
