January Newsletter

Happy New Year and welcome to 2025, San Diego lovers!
We’re starting off the New Year with a Weekend Experience January 10 – 12 at Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside! The experience is a go and applications are still open for a late-comer or two, but not for long. If you have any friends who are looking for a sure-thing weekend, right now is the time to jump in.
Our community Holiday traditions carry over into January with the following events. Anyone in our San Diego Community is welcome to these events. Please use the contact form if you need help getting in touch with the hosts.
- The Northeast and East County communities will meet together for their annual Pie Party on Saturday, January 4 at 10am.
- The Northwest and North Valley communities will meet for their annual Bunco Party and Epiphany celebration on Saturday, January 4 at 6:30pm.
- North Valley Community will join the Weekend Renewal on Sunday, January 19 at 2pm. If you have never had a chance to attend a Renewal, you are invited to join the community and the couples who will have just finished their Encounter at the event.
- Communities will return to their regular gatherings with presentations, dialogue, and sharing in February, which is a fitting month for sweethearts to do so.
Save the date for Saturday, February 15, 2025, where the Diocese of San Diego will host its annual Marriage Anniversary Mass (hosted by the Diocesan Office of Family Life and Spirituality). Plan ahead to be a part of the celebration.
Also, the next Weekend Experience in San Diego will be on April 25 – 27, 2025 at St. Charles Retreat Center in San Diego. Start inviting now and please let us know if you can assist as a prayer couple.
Lastly, what would the New Year be without a new month’s worth of dialogue questions for your relationship? If you haven’t already made dialogue a daily habit, perhaps that could be your New Year’s resolution for 2025. Put your best foot forward in the New Year and give that daily gift of yourself to your spouse.
